Kansas City Public Schools (KCPS) offers a multitude of career and technical programs mainly based at Manual Career and Technical Center (MCTC). MCTC is a shared-time attendance center for students in grades 11 and 12 who live within the KCPS attendance boundaries.

The center offers career and technical programs at multiple sites. Our campuses prepare students to enter a highly educated workforce or to begin post-secondary education. Successful completion of a designated program allows MCTC students to be eligible for articulated or dual college credit and access to employment placement services
